Resonator removal. Pros and cons?

Pro - quicker throttle response
Con - at least one has reported water getting as far as the MAF (v.bad!). Mind, I've run over 100k km's on two cars without resonator & no probs.
Pro and/or Con - increased noise. But it's nice to hear what your wastegate/dump valve is up to
