Default Dont want to use Paypal

I want to sell my STI so logged in to upgrade my membership so i could advertise it on here, but every time i try to do it by credit card it defaults to starting a paypal account and i dont want one.

Is there any way around this or am i doing something wrong?

That`s how I paid. I didn`t notice another method. I`ve used Paypal for years so it wasn`t an issue anyway.

If you're buying, Paypal doesn't cost you anything unless you're agreeing to pay for the fees.

I was jubious as well but never looked back after i started using it. I've only had a couple of issues with buying things on ebay. Paypal have been great and helped me through out.

Yes, they do charge you when selling. Prime example, i sold something on ebay for £52 and i received £49. You may grumble but... would the buyer have paid that much for the item if he/she didn't know they were going to be protected by paypal????

Get with the times! You won't go far with online selling/buying without a Paypal account nowadays - you'll only annoy the people you're trying to deal with!

I always put in Paypal account required when i list things on eBay, been caught out by users not wanting to use Paypal before and it was a massive hassle to cancel it all and relist the item! It protects both buyers and sellers so i won't deal with people not willing to use it!

You can pay using a credit card without having a paypal account, im sure my customers have done the same in the past.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.
I’m wanting to renew my membership but my Paypal account is blocked.
Someone hacked it over a year ago (done through hacking my email) and now it is blocked and can’t seem to have it lifted. Followed all the things to do online but still not unblocked.
Am I correct in saying the only way to renew is by paypal???
