Well i was used to a alpine 15" type r sub with 500wrms rockford amp so its no comparisment to that, but wanted as much power and bass as possible from a compact one, and looked at other compact subs and there were not near to the power of this at the time, so for a compact sub it was really good tbf, i wouldnt advise it be put into a saloon with sealed type boot but more for a hatch/estate imo to make most of the sound.
It is a good amp/sub for terms of sound quality bass rarther than oughtright power but then again i was used to 500wrms .
