So im back to the urge to get a scooby. i bought my cosmic 04 type-r brand new but once again got the scooby itch. i love my ctr. Im only one that's driven it i know exactly where its been and what's not happened to it. serviced at Honda every year only 60,000mls but again I've got the scooby itch. Anyone changed to scooby and regreted it?

 

What should i do? Tune the civic or swap to a wrx? I've always wanted a scooby but if i tune the civic it can also be quick. And I've read a couple of ex scooby owners swop to a ctr that have not been disappointed. especially after a remap

 

I got both a ep3 (standard) and a tuned impreza. I love both in different ways

The ep3 can be very fast with a supercharger

But wheelspins like mad.

I don't think you will miss the ep3 when you get the turbo spinning

I've had most of the fast Hondas and now on my second Impreza. As much fun as the CTR was, it seriously lacks torque, and being FWD it does wheelspin when booting it. Impreza all the way for me.

 

Have you owned one before?

A bog standard WRX will beat your Type R, but only just.
