Default Advice on importing wheels

Has anyone imported wheels from the US before?

Looking to import a set myself and just want an idea of how much I should be expecting to pay customs and duties.

I looked into it before getting some second hand work emotions on here.

Price of wheels
+shipping cost (usually £200-£300)
+import VAT (20% of wheels+shipping)
+customs fee/duty (10% of wheels+shipping+VAT)

Thats what i was getting told anyway.

You'd have to really want the wheels to be paying that much just to get them here.

Of course this only applys if you can't get them through a retailer here.
