Hi all, looking to get back into the subaru scene after selling up a while back. I did have another account, but have forgotten my password.

My last car was a 350 bhp Type R, it was a quick car but am looking for something even quicker this time.

I have been doing some research over the last month or so, and have decided roughly what i'm looking for.

I don't mind what classic it is, UK 2000, type R, type RA, anything as long as it well sorted.

There is a few things the car must have, forged engine by someone reputable, uprated gearbox - 6 speed or PPG, and a big brake setup/handling mods.

The maximum i'm looking to spend is 10k, but this doesn't mean i'm going to pay 10k for a 6k car, please be realistic with prices.

I will consider newages as well as long as they are within the budget.

If you've got 10k there is a 500bhp white type r that ticks all your boxes on here

 

What is this currently running with the knocking bottom end? Turbo? Box? etc. And who has built the new engine?

 

I've seen it, but looking what else is out there. Plus was looking for something thats been built by enginetuner, rcm, or lateral etc.
