Default New Calipers

Fitted new calliper's today. WOW what a difference!! Think they have been seized on slightly for a while, car feels so much quicker.

Question is what to do with the old calliper's. Are they worth anything?? The need refurbing as one piston on each has seized. They are 4 pots off an 04 WRX.

So you went 4 pot to 4 pot?
They must have been bad if you think the car feels quicker. Your MPG was probably worse before also.
Ian Godney from Godspeed brakes normally give 100 quid for a set, as he does a refurb service.

Yeah the MPG has been pretty awful. Car has been sat for a week recently while being repaired and just didn't seem right when I picked it up. Noticed a funny smell and looked out at the drivers wheel to see smoke coming from the front wheel. Pulled over and quite a bit of heat coming from the drivers wheel. Passenger side was ok. They needed some help when I changed the discs and pads a while back so was sort of expecting this to happen.

Not got the cash for Brembo's so just did like for like.
