hi, i have the terzo impreza turbo uk model my98 v4, i was going to buy an newage sti intercooler top mount tonight but people are saying they could be problems? i thought it was a straight swap on these? thanks

 

The sti topmount is quite a bit bigger than the std one so a few mods need doing. Modifying the brackets and trimming down the neck on the resivour are needed. Not hard work tho. Then once fitted the undertray needs altering or replacing to get the full airflow to the new core.

the newage ics fit onto v5/6 relatively easy but v3/4 need the d/v port on the ic modding as in cutting it off and welding on either the old d/v port off the v4 ic or a custom pipe because the icv is in the way
