Question power loss

hi every1 ive recently been having a problem with me bugeye,put it down to hot weather untill today,i get a noticable loss of power on some days doesnt matter if its hot or cold,like today it ran bloody great but yesterday was like id lost 30bhp,ive had turbo bac exhaust on since i had car i put panel filter/3port solenoid new neutral switch remap by duncan so its been done right the only thing i havnt got round to doing is upgrading plugs,it doesnt idle funny or anything out of the ordenery just loss of power on some days,any ideas anbody..
soz ive also upgraded the fuel pump,its so strange how great it ran today then i mite get in it tommorow n its a totally different car....

I would definitely get your plugs changed if not done recently for ngk7's, maybe have a look at your maf sensor and give it a gentle clean. Also what injectors are you using? Maybe upgrade to 550 pinks if not already and have you upgraded the fuel pump?

Probably heat soaking or boost leak somewhere mate?

I thought i had power loss issues, however people have said because of the topmounted intercooler if you're sitting in traffic & to boot it as it above the engine Soaks up to much heat and you may think your losing power

... also within the map itself there are tables that reduce power if intake temps are high. These are used to reduce boost and ignition timing if too hot as a safety feature.

I am up in norwich area next thursday at APT in Lenwade if you would like me to check it over for you or pop it on the dyno.

Hello mate thanks for the offer, ive recently had it mapped, it seems to be alot smoother and doesnt appear to be heatsoaking as much now! If it changes ill be in touch!
