Default Scooby value

Hey guys. Im looking at a classic scooby but working out its private values difficult as im 99.9% certain the online valuations are way too low. Its a V plate 2000 turbo, mica blue, 1 owner, FSH, only done 38000 miles. The bodywork and iinterior etc are in amazing condition and been really well looked after and hasnt been messed about with. The online sites say its worth about £1700 which is a joke of as price as seen ones for sale that have done 80K for more. Any helps appreciated guys

Its worth what you are willing to pay. Perfectly good cars are being broken at the moment as more money can be made for them. The price has fallen out of scoobs at the moment and is a good time to buy. Modifications do not and will not tend to add any extra value to the car. If they are advertised for more does not mean they will get this price for them.

I would go for something around the 80-110k mile marker at that age. You know it has been used regulary then and not sat. At 38k miles should have had 2 cambelts as well going on age. Unless you can find a one owner from new used regulary enough and has maintained it to a high level then this would be perfect. Even unmolested they may have had a few owners in there time which has been thrashed once or twice.

Yeah the guy has had it from new and has FSH nearly been to Subaru4you all its life. I do know they guy whose selling it hes in his late 40s and a decent guy with wife and kids so not some boy racer who goes out to car cruises every week to rag it. Hes had it from new so probs been an investment to him so has been well looked after and stuff, been garaged when not used than out on the road. Just want to know what its roughly worth for when I say whats he looking for it. Hes selling it as hes got a M3 now so doesnt need a 2 high performance cars. Looking around seems its worth between 2-3K but finding cars to compare it to is difficult
