5 speed upgrade ?

My track car, a 52 bug WRX, has an iffy 4th gear. It's running approx 320bhp.

Now I can't afford a 6 speed conversion so what options are there to uprate / strengthen the standard box ?

Just pick up a later lower mileage wrx one mate yours wouldnt of been down to power I wouldnt of thought so. When u say iffy 4 rh gear what u mean?

It just won't engage every so often, as in it just won't go in full stop then 5 secs later it's fine ??
