I'm off for a couple of days of recreational driving in Wales tomorrow.

Does anyone reccommend any exceptional routes or roads that I should know about?

You can't go far wrong with the bits up north, Llangollen, Betws-y-coed and Denbigh areas. In the middle the A44 between Kington and Rhayader is great for an A road the A481 off the A44 is also a bit tasty. You could also tool around the Elan valley.
