Could be over filled with oil, leading to contamination of the wastegate solenoid.

Pop it down the dealer, tell em you got some overboost and not holding at peak revs.

They sort it with some brake cleaner and maybe drain some oil.

2.4 K miles - no problems like this yet. I'll keep a watch though.

Thanks for the information. Yeh, I think it's a great car.

Question

Got a boost gauge fitted and car peaks at about 20 and holds 15 and has overboosted a couple of times?
And clutch has started to slip in 5th at about 4000 but not all the time??
Great cars eh?
I understand that there is a problem with the solenoid getting all oily and 5hitty with more spirited driving but clutches only lasting 11500 miles??

Done 17,500 miles now.

Clutch is becoming a pain in the butt. It judders like a b4stard when doing slow manouveres (B&Q car park) Today, when trying to pop the front wheel up onto a kerb, the clutch stunk.

I'll be onto the dealer on Tuesday about a new clutch!

Regards
Kurt
