Hi Guys,

Has anyone had their air con re-gased ? or what ever they do ?
Just wondered how much, is it worth it.
MY 95 STI isn't that cold anymore, its gone off gradually so no leak me thinks,

I thought they were supposed to be recharged every 2 years? When was the last time it was done?

And they should be used once a month or so even during the winter, to keep them happy. I forget the mechanical reasoning behind this.

 

Brendan, think its because the seals go hard if you dont use it, but a/c should be re gassed every 2 years, even if it still feels cold as the system can pick up some nasty bits (some form of fungus) and re gassing totally vacuums the system cleaning it all out.
