My 6 speed gear linkage has a lot of play in it the stick moves side to when in neutral and in gear, I've replaced all the bushes and it hasn't got any better, it's as if there's no tension on it to keep it stiff! Any ideas

I think they are all a bit like that. Iv got 2 linkages & both are the same.
