Hi,
Just starting to look to buy a Turbo Wagon. Any special things to look out for? Any great limited edition models out there to hunt down, i'm on a limited budget £6999 - £8000 so I'm looking around a Late M, N reg or Early P with big miles. Any thoughts advice hints very gratefully recieved, work around Bristol and Portsmouth so any good dealers (not offical in my price range!) in those areas? How do Scooby cope with high miles?
Sorry so many questions but want a good base car so I can improve it over time with mods, ice etc.
THANKS!

Have you looked at the Frequently Asked Questions document on www.sidc.co.uk? - plenty of useful info in there.

As far as I know there weren't any UK special editions based on the 5 door. If I were you I'd hold out for a 97P model which has the revised interior (bucket seats, etc.) and the facelifted front end. I'd have thought you'd be able to get one of these with sensible mileage on it for around £8k now.

Cheers,

Ian.

I'd try and get the 97-on model also with revised engine and nose if I were you - or a fantastic 95M legacy with £4k to tune !
