Hi i have blown my gearbox on my 1999 impreza uk turbo 2000 saloon & am wondering if any other gearbox would fit directly without changing anything... as i cant find a gearbox which will fit a 1999 uk turbo 2000 direct... any info/help would be appreciated.... or even better if anyone knows of anyone selling one local to Leeds West Yorkshire & is priced reasonably please forward details !!!

 

look in the full cars breaking forum on here theres plenty classics in there. Im 99% sure any classic box will fit although the jap cars have different ratios. Bug n blob eye have two extra holes on the bell housing so I'm unsure if a new gen box would work, that said I've got a bug eye block in my 98 t2k bolted to the standard box so there every chance.
