New key cut won't turn locks!
Have been trying to get a spare key cut, i know it won't start the engine due to the immobiliser, but having tried four different key cutting places they always won't turn the lock!....anyone else had this happen?
Some places cut them rubbish. Physically compare the key to teh real one. Notice any edges that need filing off?
I had a key done once that would only open the lock if it was one way. Ie, it had to be upside down, if you know what I mean. New keys need wearing in a bit.
Are you saying you have had 4 keys cut, and none of them turn?

Just get some 180 sand paper and gently rub down the edges mate, the old key/tumblers become rounded on the edges and thus a new sharp edge key won't fit and work the tumblers correctly
Have you had it cut off an old one? If so, the old one may be worn and producing a non-copy, if you understand that?
You could ask a Scoob dealer to get you one, tell him you need a copy, NOT to be programmed, it's cheaper.
