Default 5speed dccd to 6Speed dccd

I got a Sti Type R now with 5speed dccd box and is converting to a 6speed dccd box from a 2006 sti. Can i use my existing dccd controller, just plug it in?

Or do i need to buy a aftermarket controller like the DCCDpro??

Your dccd plug will plug straight in and work as normal.

and just to confirm. Doin the 6 speed conversion in a few weeks. I got a V5 Type R -99

All i need for the conversion is.

6 speed euro box from a hawkeye
6 speed prop shaft
6 speed R180 diff from the same car as the box.
6 speed gearlinkage
6 speed gearbox mount
stubs to the box so my oem driveshafts fit

I can use my oem rear driveshaft since i got a R180 diff already, am I right?

Yeh if you have a r180 diff already then your shafts will fit the rear diff.
