Thats not a "Limited" fella, Limted's started at Version 5.....I could be wrong but it looks like someone has just added a badge to the centre console.....Plus im pretty sure all "Limited's" were blue.
Nice car nevertheless
Nice car nevertheless
The V-limited type R's started at version 4 buddy.
Yes there is "Limited" is V5 and V6 "V-Limited" cars are V2, V3 and V4
Exactly, so why has it got a Limited Badge and not a V limited badge?

The V5 is a Limited, not V-Limited, due to the WRC not being won that year, so they were limited to production months rather than numbers
The V-Ltd and Ltd both had roof vents and were only available in 74F Blue
V4 Came in WRX and WRX STI V-Limited versions.
Its all on the Type RA forum including the original sales brochures
This looks like a type R with a number plaque fitted from another car
Still looks a really nice car though
Steve
Having said that i think there was a 555 Aniversary edition that was available in different colours and without the roof vent. The only colour i have seen in this model so far is yellow though ?
Kind of correct however..............

The brochure has no mention of signature edition for the yellow one .. thought we,d been over this.
The only mention of signature is from the book you and your subaru impreza turbo which is full of incorrect info....

The researchers of said book must of made that name up then,, seems a very strange thing to do don't you think

So the limited run of yellow STI V3 type R's wasn't a special edition then ?
Very nice!
I do like the Type R's with the lower level spoilers, dont stand out as much as the later higher level spoilers.
Autoart do a good 1:18 scale model of the Chase Yellow v3 Type R
