Default Newage carbon fbre roofs

Hi all, we have now managed to get hold of a newage impreza roof and should be arriving thursday.

We will be running a group buy on these produced in exactly the same way as our classic impreza carbon fibre roofs.

Our intended retail price on these is £649.99 each

Gloss or matte finish available.

For the purposes of the group buy we can offer them to you at:

confirmed 5 orders - £610 each
confirmed 10 orders - £560 each

Postage on these roofs will be done on an individual basis so we can post it to you for as little as possible, fully insured with FedEx should be no more than £40 Uk mainland.

I will take us a little over 2 weeks to produce the mould from the roof we will recieve.

Deposits of £100 will be needed once names are confirmed.

Inaddition if you already have carbon bonnets and tailgates we can match the weave to the roof if photos are supplied.

Please guys if your interested add you names, any questions please do pm me.

*i have to inform you that these are for offroad / show purposes only* However its up to you guys how you want to use them.

Regards
Chris

How much lighter than the OE roofskin? Plus is the old rookskin effectively scrap after it is removed or can it be refitted?

Approximate weight should be around 2.5kg. Im unsure of the weight of the origional however i can say we removed our alloy roof from our evo IX and the carbon one to replace it was half its weight at 2.8kg

Im assuming the newage impreza roof skin is steel so the weight saving should be very good. I can confirm weights once ive made the first carbon roof.

And if you are able to drill the spot welds off the origional steel roof and cut the bonding on the cross members i dont see why you couldnt get it off in once piece, however to re fit the same steel roof skin you would have to use rivets though the holes drilled to remove the spot welds.

Off in one piece I hear you say

I could weld that skin onto another car if say the old roof was damaged beyond repair no problem, just need to go steady with drilling and cutting.

Its easy peasy fitting these, hardest thing is getting the screens out without breaking them. But with alot of patients its not too bad.

Ryan is definitly the bloke to go to for fitting though.

Dan is correct with his reasoning behind the off road use only.

I fully intend to use our car with a carbon roof on the road.

Not sure why you email didnt come through dan... maybe just pm the pictures on here?

Ian

Dont worry ian your first on my list, at this stage we need to get 10 names together.

These will be the exact same quality as the classic impreza roofs we manufacture.

Approximate weight is 2.5kg i would guess at a steel skin weighing in at around 10Kg? please do correct me if i'm wrong, this is a guess based on my experience with evo roofs.

i was sure there would be alot of interest in these.... we can only do the group buy price of ten if we can get ten names. This enables us to buy materials in bulk and pass on the savings to you guys.

Ryan - still waiting on these pictures of what dan wants...
