Default Gearbox Prices?

Hello all gearbox has just gone bang, ive had a search on here but seems like there are so many different gearbox's. what are the rough prices for the various gearbox options. Car is a v2 wrx transmission code: TY52VB4AA

Get a later TY754 box, I`ve one in my 1995 wrx and they easier to come by in lower mileage.
Just make sure you get the box and diff, as they will be matched.

Can pick them up from £150-£200, and get a B in the code as its a close ratio, not N a long ratio.

thanks for the advice will be on the lookout for one, i take it the ty54 box is stronger aswell

No not really, the big difference is the later sti. gearset were hardened by freezing, standard gearset bisnt and the casing is reinforced, you can still chew them up on standard power as easily as you can on a 752 box.

so what other options are there for a stronger gearbox? 6 speed and ppg are out of my budget

not sure what bhp or torque was going to book it in for a dyno run, car is a v2 wrx with full decat 3inch system, panel filter, walbro 255 fuel pump, z4 ecu with polar performance chip
