Default Springs question

Just been phoned by eibach retailer after ordering some springs for my car, it's an 03 Blob Eye WRX, basically they said they do them for 01-03 and then 03-on, they asked is mine an early or late model which i dont have a clue, it was registered in March 03 and is an 03 plate, so i presume earlier? Anyway to find out? As last thing i need now is wrong springs turning up!! Cheers

were they getting confused with bug and blob do you think?

if so, yours would obviously be the latter of the two options.

Was it Camskill? They seem tobe very cautious when you order parts for subarus!

If you check the 10th digit in your VIN, it will be a number which is equal to the year - I.e. 3 if it's a 2003, 2 if it's a 2002. My car was built in Nov 2004 but is actually a 2005 build date car, as the build year doesn't line up with calender year.

No it wasnt camskill, basically there are 2 options.

WRX 01-03
WRX 03 on

Mine is an 03 blob eye wrx, so im presuming that it's going to be the 03 on and that 01-03 is the bug eye models.... i hope so anyway because ive asked them to send me the later springs!

Well, looks like ive ordered the right ones as MSW states:

WRX 00>02
WRX 03>

So i think the options should be wrx 00-02 and wrx 03 on. Phew...

I have had the odd moment of confusion - being a Scooby Nooby - some things are 96-05, some 00-02, some 00-07 etc...

Glad you got sorted out anyway.
