Hiya gents, Ive got a uk 51 reg WRX bugeye and had suspected front diff noise issues with a TY54VN2AA box. When I sourced a replacement box which was advertised as a TY54VN2AA a TY54VN1AA box arrived from an 02 reg WRX. I've been doing some research and reading through endless threads on here to find out if it will just drop straight in or am I going to have rear diff issues? Seems the gears/syncro's are the same for a 1AA and 2AA but just wanted your opinion. Cheers in advance, thanks, RJ

 

for the record for anyone else with the problem. The TY754VN1AA is a direct replacement for the TY754VN2AA. they are both from 51/02 reg uk imprezas using diff 3.54
