Default Replying to threads that are old

Perhaps a pop up box when the previous post is more than 2 months old? Something like 'are you sure you want to post to this thread, because the last post was made when the dinosaurs walked the earth'

I agree, that would be useful. Although an old post answered by a new reply is always a good thing.... if ya get what i mean.

I recon people do a search, find the topic and post a reply without realising it's two years old

Nothing wrong with bringing up an old thread. Times change, info changes, parts and methods become cheaper etc
