if i was mine i would put original wheels back on and put original vents/scoop on the bonnet and it would be an excellent car.

Would expect it to be known on P1woc - its got a P1 plaque in the car - these were produced by the club in the last 5 or 6 years so if the owner has had it 12 years he must have been on the site at some stage.

Looks a good car and nice spec, But 12,5k is a bit steep, Id expect to pay 9k-10k. Just for the low mileage and spec.

If its what your looking for, id make him a offer if its any good!!!!

saw the car when I went to pick up the old tmic, which I bought off good old ebay!
the car looks very nice from outside, agree about the slight chavtastic scoops & rims,
if receipts are available for all work, then its pretty good, low miles as well,
its overpriced,I guess, when i saw it it did actually make me want a P1,so in
essence worth a look ,at the right price!

Unless I am blind (which is possible) running std gearbox so would leave it well alone. Or factor in the cost of a ppg kit or six speed when the box let's out.

I used to use Subaru4you lenn us a top guy, workmanship that I saw was spot on. The turbo is a custom job similar idea as the clinic, rcm, lateral performance etc.

For me its too pricey if it had the stronger box let alone not having it.

Hold out for one from the owners club with ALL the right bits

bit chavved up for a P1 for my liking.but it does say you will not find another P1 or any other sports car in general with such a high spec.hmm is that so.

len mark and rick at S4U are top guys , know there stuff so sure its done to a high standard, i would say it warrants the premium over a normal P1 for the engine build, brakes, etc.

Nice but not worth anything like 14K.

True, without a stronger box I'd not touch it for anywhere near that money, your going to have to factor in a good 2k minimum for when it blows which it's bound to at some point, hang on and you'll no doubt get a better spec at a more realistic price

Sorry but 14k is imo 5k+ over priced, due to the fact the box will need doing as it is on It's limits. Proven by the fact the owner has spent 1200 quid on a clutch and rebuild! Yes I appreciate the p1 is a fine looking car and has a limited build number but the only thing original that is left is the shell and interior. The engine I am sure is rock solid and all work has been carried out to a high standard but you will want more power so you will need the box, 3k gone, then more power so new turbo and possible injectors and there goes another 1500 quid plus mapping so your 14k car is now 19k. I am not knocking it as at the right price I think its well worth it but far to over priced in my book.

sounds a much better option depending the rest of the spec but for a comparison to the asking price of 14k here is a well sorted wr1

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3595596.htm

sure you could get that for 13k odd maybe a little more

if its a p1 you are after then cool i had one and the are great cars. i would hold out for the right one though with the 6 speed fitted. drop a post on the p1oc asking if anyone with a big build of thinking selling up (if yo have not already)

good luck pal
