Default A few questions, Again.

Hiya all,

Was great seeing everyone in the beemers and mercs etc getting stuck up the tiny little hill outside my place last night, occasionally a scoob would come along and just drive nicely past without trouble at all, some would even stop and get out to push others up the hill, fantastic.

Anyway just a couple of questions, getting some 4 pot front callipers for the front of my98 WRX soon, should the rears be upgraded to 2 pots at the same time or will they work ok with standard callipers and vented disks currently fitted, just wondering if they will be balanced ok?

Also wondering if its worth fitting a de cat up pipe, running vf22 full 3" decat and panel filter otherwise standard but might fit a walbro pump as well if its worth doing? Assume i'll have to get a map tweek if i do these things to make sure its running ok? How much is it on average to have a bit of a tweek?

Car still isnt on the road yet but hoping to be done for the summer so april may time, can't wait

Cheers for any replies guys

OP,
For what a fuel pump costs it's a no brainier. Get one on there just for piece of mind at the very least.
Rear brakes will be fine, just make sure you've got a decent set of discs and pads. I run standard rear calipers on my car with no issues.
De-cats, deffo worth doing in my opinion. Just be prepared come MOT time as if your tester is strict then you'll have to swap it for a cat.
Get all the bits on and then do the most important thing, map it.
