hello i need buy oil for my car as its having a oil change and a friend told me us carlube 10-40w so my question is has anyone used it before and is it anygood if not whats the best to buy as i need 6ltr+ my car a 2000awd turbo with api engine in it

 

6l of oil?? Its only 4.5 u need unless it has a aftermarket large oil cooler. Never used carlube oil, just make sure its fully synthetic and you will be fine.

 

Opie had a deal on, 5ltr of fuchs Titan race pro-s, £49 delivered inc 1ltr free = 6ltr, as said 5ltrs will be sufficient for an oil change though, BTW opie do a k&n oil filter too.

 

Over the last 3 years, I've always used halfords trackday oil 5w 50 and never had an issue.

 

I use opie oil as well Titan s 5/40 fully synth silkolene make it,it's good oil

 

What oil filter would you recommend for a 2000 turbo classic?
