hi folks my air con has stopped working on my 2001 uk 300 pump still working ran live wire from battery in to small wire on top of pump. the pump engages and i have cold air all fuses and relays seam to be ok dashboard switch has light not sure what to check next any help?

 

In the small 8mmthere will be a pressure switch with the engine running short the switch if the compresser engages then you prob only. Red a regas

When was the last time it was regassed ?

 

not sure i have had car 2 years when i ran live wire to pump the air went very cold quickly

 

Right in that case find that pressure switch and short it if it works then the pressure switch has failed. To replace it you will need to get it degassed and regassed. After. Don't come in contact with the gas it will burn
