I'm always tempted, my Mrs used to say I was "obsessed" when looking for a V1 a few yrs back, and to be honest an impreza wasn't even on my radar, I did buy a V1, put a deposit on it but bottled it the night before I was due to collect, the thought of paying £16k for a 7yr old import didn't seem a good purchase, 3mths later I bought the scoob and the rest as they say is history... is still love a V1 though
iv had alot of evoes very nice cars but last evo i had was evo 6 i was paying £398fully comp now insurance is £800plus so not sure whats going on with the evoes, this is why the evoes are coming down in price cause of the insurance.

They have shot down in price over the last year, anything perceived as being heavy on fuel seems to be bottoming out, a mate recently sold his low mileage 8MR for £7.5k, we're talking about a car that was worth £12k just 18 months ago
Take a look, not bad for 7.5k, I rekon anyways.

Not a bad price, Isn't an MR though!!
The trouble is it just not Evo's going down in price it's happening to quite a lot of performance cars.
I dread to think about what my Spec C would sell for, I know that you can't expect a good return on the modifications carried out but the market is poor.

It's reflected in the "Break or Sell" market. If it keeps going this way, well modded or cared for cars will start to go up in price. You may well laugh but it's happened before.
The biggest market for secondhand performance and hypercars are the B.R.I.C countries, even if the wheel is on the wrong side.
