Hi All.

I'm trying to fit an autometer boost guage to my P1 (along with some others)

But i'm struggling which pipe to place the T piece on as there are so many of the little sods!

I have had a look @ chiarks site - the pipe he uses seems to have a use on my car - snaking off under the engine somewhere!

Help - is it the one just to the right of the throttle cable mounting?

Ideally I think the one that is attached to the standard recirculating dump valve - but I can't find this either - I think this nestles just by the airbox - all part of the same bracket that my alarm siren is on (doesn't look like a dump valve to me though)

Anyone? - any help muchly appreciated!

Thanks

Chris

You can attach it to any pipe which comes off the inlet manifold after the throttle. Basically most pipes you see on the top of inlet manifold! You could also take off one of the bungs and use that if there is a spare.

No spares on mine though!

So any of those pipes should be ok then?

Is anyone better than the other for accuracy?

pull one of the pipes from the inlet manifold back and insert a t-piece and another short piece of pipe. then you don't have to cut anything!
