Noticed that im having more and more fun getting Reverse in my MY01. Its had a quick shift. It either makes a major racket when i engage it - so i have to go to neutral and then back in (and it still makes a metalic noise) - or it wont go all the way in at all and i have to double clutch.

Is this normal - or do i have a problem??

Any MY01 owners care to comment?

Nope,

Mine doesn't make any noise when engaging reverse but it doesn't always go into reverse first time either. Apparently the latter is normal.

MY94, quite often crunches a bit or is a bit tricky to select reverse, I got quickshift also.

 

the whole friggin gearbox on the Justy is evil...
