Default New exhaust knocking

had my second new exhaust fitted after the first one was knocking against the steering rack.

Drove home tonight after getting it back and its doing the same thing but in a different palce and it makes the car har to steer and unpleasurable to drive.

Any ideas as to why its happening? its driving me mad and need to get it sorted but i dont have money to just thow at it and hope that fixes it

oh its a 2.5 hawkeye WRX

you should only pay for the exhaust once surely? if they've used the wrong hangers then it must be down to them to sort it? hard to steer? thats a safety issue if it's touching!

when i went to get the car mapped i fitted a japspeed downpipe and that was knocking against the steering knuckle, so i changed to a different system to stop the knocking. Since fitting the new DP it stopped knocking, however the up pipe started to blow, so i have replaced the up pipe and headers and since then it seems to hit the steering rack but only when the engine is under load .... not sure if it could be engine mounts?

When i fitted a bellmouth downpipe on mine, it was very close and expected it to catch the steering knuckle, so i ahem clearanced it with a ball peen hammer, and never had a problem.
