hi my 93 wrx has an intermitent grind on second gear regardles how far i depres the clutch or how slow i change gears
any ideas on whats the problem is syncro ?

plus the clutch pedal springs right up there about 2/3 inchs of spring play on the pedal ?

 

sounds like the syncro to me i lost 2nd all together on my last box what power are you running ?

 

nearly bog standard just z4 ecu and magnex cat back exhaust so around 260 i think
