need some help hear guys.first off all ive got a 02 sti type uk bugeye.and ive put a classic 5 gearbox in it.bought the car whith out the gearbox.the trouble is the classic speed control plug is differant from the bug,still got 3 wires but the colours different it throws up a speed sencor fault as soon as i start to drive it.it goes onto safe mode.i just need to know what coulors goes where any help would be appreciate thanks

 

i cant understand no one can solove my problem hear with this wireing there must be some one has done this conversion before,its doing my head in.its only 3 wires there must be a wizard out there folks

 

Its unusual to fit a 5speed box into a car that should have a 6 speed. Most go the other way. Have you changed the diff to? Cant help with the wiring but im interested in why youve gone to a 5 speed box?

 

long story short,classic shell was rotten.. picked up a bug sti shell cheap..swapped over my classic running gear etc into bug now only problem left is this wiring issue.

any help would be appreciated
