Default what is the extra plug in the boot on a 2002 inpreza

i was playing about in my boot the other day and right next to the boot light there is an extra plug i tried plugging another light into it to see if that done anything but nothing

does anybody know what its for its on the 2002 inpreza wrx

I found this the other day - there is two plugs coming off of the same wiring loom, one goes into the boot light (which was unplugged on mine - so plugged in back in) but im not sure on the other, be good to know tho

Don't think so as both Wrx models and be in the wrong location for pump n bottle :-s

st had the little plug/switch electrical tested and its DEAD so thats that answered i guess lol

As an aside: most after-market alarms have a wire running to the boot light so it sets the alarm off if someone forces the boot open. Won't be part of the wiring loom, just taped too it.
