I have been offered a '97 spec UK engine to replace the broken '95 UK spec engine in my car. I believe that there some change occured with the engines that year - any idea what the differences are?? and when they occured?? otherwise will the engine be a direct replacement??

Cheers

Alex

different manifold, different heads, different intercooler, different ecu, different turbo, ignition block instead of coil packs, there is quite a lot in it!

would rather go with another 95 engine.

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?

What I meant was to swop over the main engine assembley (block/head). Will this fit without any changes??
