Default Wiper problem.

I have a problem with my wipers (1995/96 JDM WRX), in that the intermittent doesn`t work.

If I move the wiper to intermittent it just keeps going, as if its on the click after.
If I move the lever up to off, the wiper stops where ever it is, so I have to cancel when the wipers hit (or as near as damn it) the bottom position, or they get stuck on the screen.

Would this be a fuse issue, relay, switch, or wiper motor issue??

As I know there is some gubbins for the wipers on the switch itself, but I`m hoping its a fuse/relay that can be swapped.

Also has anyone got a diagram for the JDM fusebox, so I know what does what, as I know no Japanese. lol.

Sounds like the wiper relay, where the intermittant usually is.

However, the stopping anywhere could be the motor, since the gubbins for THAT are there.

No clue which is the wiper relay, but it'll probably be in the fusebox under the bonnet. You could get someone to switch them on and off while you touch each relay, feel for it clicking, or place handle of screwdriver on your ear, blade on each in turn, listen for clicks.

If you need to know which fuse, mine is outside, I could go and look, 98 UK classic......any good?
