Just noticed one of the rear number plate bulbs has gone on my 2005 wrx blobeye, what bulb do I need / can they be replaced with led versions if so what size etc would I require, any ebay recommendations for such ??

 

Okay quick google search showed type 168 ?? anyone confirm ?? would prefer led type if anyone can advise whats best ??

Hi mate just fitted two new ones to mine as they were on the way out, just used normal side light bulbs from work, a quick search on ebay would find some LED ones tho

Aren't they W5W, aka 501? Capless 5W bulb?

 

they are 501 (W5W), I had to change my the other day as well...
