The car went back in yesterday to have the map tweaked with the new 3" system and my god what a weapon it is now
It is pulling hard from around 3k upto the redline and peak boost is 1.65 bar and tailing off to 1.35 on the psi3
Sadly the rolling road was unavailable to get a printout so will have to sort a session out soon but i am mega impressed with how the car now responds and will recommend Rich to anyone considering getting a remap. It was on he's advice that i divert from the 20G route and instead use a fast spooling turbo that suits my driving as i prefer to keep my fun below the ton(100)
After sourcing a virtually new VF48 and ported and wrapped headers plus harvey uppipe the car was mapped with a methanol mix but only made 341bhp with peak boost at 1.5 tailing off to 1.2 and being restricted by the 2.5 prodrive exhaust
He advised me that i needed to go for a 3" system if i wanted to get the most out of my setup and break into 360bhp+. So with the 3" Milltek system now fitted and mapped it is quite noticeable how mush difference it's made to the way it pulls and yet it is still boosts smoothly
He's advice and mapping skills was well worth the journey
