Default Creaking Clutch

Im getting a loud creaking noise when pressing down the clutch pedal on my 2006 STI running 320bhp ( estimate ) on std clutch. The creaking can also be felt throught the pedal.

Ive greased the end of the slave cylinder rod and changed the fluid but the noise is still there.

Its worse when engine/gearbox is hot.

Clutch doesnt slip and still works fine so I am thinking maybe the clutch fork pin is sticking.

Can the pin be removed and refitted in situ ??

Any other suggestions as to what it could be ??

Not been able to find out if clutch fork pin can be refitted in situ so its booked in with GBH Motorsport for investigation. Can't risk pulling the clutch fork pin myself and not being able to get it back in.

Question now is, should I have a new uprated clutch fitted if the box has got to come out to fix the creaking noise ????

Interesting, my Hawk has just started doing this. Be interesting to see what GBH say, can you post back mate?

Well got the car back from GBH.

They removed the pin, cleaned it up and greased it then refitted it.

All seems OK so far but only driven the car around the block. Will test more at weekend.
