Bug eye wrx gearbox, help!

Default Bug eye wrx gearbox, help!

just finished building my bugeye up to a helthy 330 bhp and the gearbox has gone bang! could someone guide me in the right direction as to the ideal replacement? cheers jay

In an Ideal world the best replacement would be a non-DCCD Uk six speed.......not the cheapest option though LOL

uk 6 speed! i wish! my gearbox had high miles,so was doomed really.do you think with the power im running wich seems to be the norm these days i should just have it reconditioned or just find a low mileage replacement?
this is only my second subaru so my know how is slim at the mo!

yeh,i work in a body shop and use of a ramp.have found a 2005 wrx uk box with low mileage,think im going to go with that

no it wasn't 3rd it was 2nd,think its the front diff

Fitting a used one sounds OK then, for useless people like me it was cheaper to get an exchange unit fitted as they took the old one in PX
