I want to upgrade my blobeye wrx gearbox but the newage sti gearbox conversion is too expensive. I see advertised quite cheaply classic sti gearbox's. Are these strengthened like the newage ones and if so will they fit my blobeye. Any ideas will be appreciated

 

Your best saving for the 6 speed gearbox, your wrx box v a classic box (depends if it's a ty752 or ty754) will be similar strength wise, so it's really 600 quid down the drain buying one.
