short quickshifter gearstick assembly for 5 speed
Looking for advice/info on the above please.
1) does it make a good difference? i.e. drag strip/track times
2) is there a detrimental effect on the gearbox?
3) is it ok in normal driving?
4) is it reasonably easy to fit or is it a job for someone with the skills?
5) where is the best place to source the kit?
thanks for any assistance

I got one from CDF, but they now sell through a number of sellers on here. It was easy to fit, apart from sheer brute strength required to remove the old one, then even more brute strength to put the new one in. The throw between gears is a lot shorter and feels like it requires a tiny bit more effort, but the stick is shorter so that makes sense. I do not know if it can damage the box.
I like it!

I cant see why it would cause problems, as long as you dont force the stick home, which I dont need to with the shifter. Hopefully someone will come up with the goods. I would look on NASIOC for problems with the Perrin shortshifter, as the design looks the same and there are loads of people on that site.
