hi guys getting another scoob sunday a type r with no plate as above just wondering if any of u lot have ever owned this car? silver was once yellow.

 

What a shame it's been re-sprayed. I saw a Yellow type R at Zen a few months back and it looked stunning.
It may well be a 'signature edition' if it was yellow. The 'signature' was a special edition that came in stunning yellow with dark grey wheels.

 

its a 555 apparently but not sure if they done them in yellow. only bad bit is engine bay stilll yellow.

 

It's not a 555 buddy.
That's one of my pet hates when colour changed cars still have original colour in the engine bay. What a shame it's been sprayed silver, was it cheap ??

The 555 was basically a STI V2 but like you say, were all blue and 4 door.
I have seen STI V3 type R's with the 555 branded seats before. Not sure if they came with them or not. As with so many Imprezas bits get swapped and changed. Your front bumper and grill for instance have been had off a newer car.

 

yea no what u mean u never know what parts u got im gonna try find what a sti type r engine code would be so can check? make sure not got some wrx engine lol
