Exclamation

i know this might be a stupid question but its pretty urgent.
Am i right in thinking that garages usually lift the front or rear of a car to test the rear/front brakes respectiveley?
Will this damage the differentials or is it ok under certain speeds?

cheers for any help

Mull,

Give Pete at Scoobysport a ring 01268 590085. He arranges/does MOT's for Scoobies, and as he doesn't have a brake test kit should know who to turn to.

I think, might be wrong though , that because the car is 4 wheel drive & has abs they can't do this. They have a book and watch the abs light come on & off in a sequence to determine if the abs brakes will work / not

hope that this helps
