On paper it seems to be an improvement, but without dates, temps and times, milages etc it's a little bit woolly.

Maybe some 'mapping' gods would like to comment.

I had a superchip 'fitted' to a previous car - no problems at all.

Fitting one will more than likely invalidate your warranty so depends hope much this means to you.

Try a search i do seem to remeber a post not too long ago re chipping and in particular superchips and how it works.

Have just re-read blurb

"Power Curves are graphs highlighting expected Power & Torque increases over the Rpm range."

Now this sounds like it's not a measured dyno curve at all then (so how did they calculate std model to be 195hp??) Confused.....

Yep - no doubt warranty would be invalidated.

They do have their own inhouse dyno. The reading are before and after on the same car.

Still seems like there is something mechanical in there.

Well we all know how accurate their in-house dyno is, it gave a standard Escort Cossie 250bhp and 295lb/ft!!!
Ho hum....
I'd never go near them again.

Stef.
