Sorry if this is a simply question but i can be a simply person at times

I have a jdm sti 04 6speed box and im just missing the front shafts. I found a pair local but they're off a 05 wrx. Would these be the same or should i look else where?

You can use 5 speed WRX shafts on a 6 speed box but you need stub shafts to fit into the six speed box. An easier solution is to use 6 speed shafts.

How much you looking for them mate? And where abouts you located?

I heard that shafts can be different in lenght dependent on year. Will the 02 shafts be the same as 04's?

As long as you get shafts from a 100PCD newage STI you will be fine.

Don't forget though that if you do go the stub shaft route, to change the oil seals for the shafts as they are a different size for the stubs.
