I am new to the Scooby World...

I am totally lost when it comes to talking about exhausts, et al.

I have a MY99 car... could someone explain to me what my car has as standard.. (power, torque band, exhaust makeup, ecu, intake)

And what difference the different components make - decat, downpipe, ecu, petrol type, etc.

What petrol type should I be using?

Should I use an octane booster?

Do the upgrades affect MOT, engine life?

Id really like to get clued up.. coz Id like to find out about my options on upgrades.. and what effect this would have in the real world.

You can be as technical as u like.. Ill pick it up.
