I'm looking at getting satnav for my Laptop(via the geodesy) but i'm hitting one problem.

I can't rest the laptop on the seat because it may fly off and I can't put it on the floor because I can't see the screen.

Is there some kind of clamp you can buy that will clamp the laptop onto the seat to stop it flying off?

I saw a system a while ago which basically consisted of a largish sheet of Velcro that strapped onto the seat portion of the passenger seat. You also got a big sheet of sticky-back Velcro to stick to the underside of the laptop. I seem to remember the hooks were on the laptop side and the fuzzy stuff on the seat cover thingy.

No idea what the name was though, sorry

try Mark Miller at Auto Audio in Mill Hill, they did the Range Rover for Noel Edmonds sometime vack and are always building far out spec'd cars for rich people, they may well have a simple solution for you, dont have number to hand but email me and i'll send it to you.
